Sharps Chapel VFD was dispatched to a camper fire on 1/28/16 at around 5:00 PM. Engine 51 and Engine 52 both responded. Dispatch advised a residence was near the camper. Fire units arrived on scene to find the camper over half involved with flames. The fire was extinguished quickly. No one was at the camper at the time of the fire. The nearby home had minor damage from the heat. No injuries were reported. Northeast Union VFD responded mutual aid but was canceled and asked to standby.
