The Sharps Chapel Fire Department conducted it’s yearly fire prevention day activities at Sharps Chapel Elementary School on Friday, November 20, 2020. SCVFD Fire Chief Chris Upton and Firefighter Dustin Ray visited the school and met with each class showing them a fire safety film and then gave each student fire prevention materials. With the current COVID issues this year the program was cut shorter than normal and Chief Upton has hopes to be back to normal by next year when they meet with the students. The SCVFD would again like to thank the school staff and students for their participation in the program.
