On Thursday, December 17, 2020, Santa and Mrs. Claus made a quick stop in Sharps Chapel. Santa stopped by the Sharps Chapel Fire Department to ask Chief Upton and Deputy Chief Simpson for help getting around as his reindeer were in the North Pole getting ready for Christmas Eve. Santa was making last minute visits in the area to check on all the boys and girls before the big night coming up. Sharps Chapel VFD loaded up Santa and Mrs. Claus in Engine 52 and roared into the parking lot at Sharps Chapel Elementary School to greet all of the the kids and staff. He then went in to visit with each one of the kids leaving them with a candy cane and reminding them to not forget to leave him some cookies Christmas Eve night.
As he loaded back up on the fire truck to head to his next stop he wished everyone a Very Merry Christmas! Thank You Santa and Mrs. Claus for stopping by our community.
