Below you will find out department statistics of calls ran and look for photos and information of recent calls under the recent calls tab.

Station 51 is located at 1520 Sharps Chapel Road in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee. Our 4-bay station houses our front-line apparatus; a 2000 International Pierce Engine, a 1997 International KME Engine, a 1983 Spartan Pumper/Tanker, 1988 E-One Rescue/HAZMAT Engine and a 1993 Chevrolet 3500 Rescue and Brush Truck.

For more information about us and our equipment, just click on any of the tabs. We are always accepting applications to join our department. Anyone interested in joining as a firefighter, junior firefighter or auxiliary member may contact the station at 865-278-3231 or come by a regular meeting that is held the first Monday of each month at 7 P.M.

The Sharps Chapel Volunteer Fire Department currently has medically trained personnel on staff to assist Union County EMS with a First Responder Program. We have 2 Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, 1 Emergency Medical Technician, 4 Emergency Medical Responders. We have several more members who are currently in medical training classes at this time. The First Responder Program is an important program, especially for a rural area such as ours. In the event Union County EMS does not have a unit close by at the time of a medical call in our area, our department is called out for assistance on the call until they arrive on the scene. Our medically trained personnel are also very important to have on vehicle accidents and other emergency calls that we respond to.
